Dota 2 Knockout Stage Ignites in Riyadh

The Esports World Cup is moving forward with momentum as the playoff stage for the Dota 2 tournament has been finalized. This week in Riyadh saw a whirlwind of competition, with a significant number of teams exiting the fray early in the event.

The initial rounds of group play and elimination matches have already wrapped up in this grand tournament boasting a $3 million prize pool. Eight teams have emerged from the early stages, earning their seed in the knockout rounds. The upcoming quarterfinal matchups are arranged in a tournament-bracket style, meaning that the winners from the top pair of games will face each other in one semifinal, while the winners from the bottom pair will square off in the other.

The tournament's winner will ultimately leave in triumph with $1 million and 1,000 Club Points, which can later be used in the Club Championship. This grand finale is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 19.
