Lost Sector review

Lost Sector is a rather old, but still lively MMORPG strategy game with turn-based online battles. Players are divided into two teams and fight with each other, controlling their squads of up to 4 characters. For this, they are available to them a lot of firearms and edged weapons.

The action of Lost Sector takes place on the streets of the fictional town of Bronxton, which after the apocalypse occupied by various gangsters. The player will fight them, as well as other mercenaries in PVP battles.

Lost Sector is an interesting hybrid of MMORPG and tactical strategy, so here the player controls not one hero, but the whole squad at once. The squad can consist of a maximum of 4 characters that are hired and pumped up from scratch. Each can choose a unique name.

Characters are divided into 4 classes: stormtrooper, sniper (damage), support, juggernaut (tank). Each class uses its type of equipment and has a unique set of talents. It is noteworthy that, having pumped a character to a maximum level of 15, you can reset the level to 6, receiving a passive talent for a higher number of credits in battles (or other bonus). You can do this as many as 6 times. You can also change the character's class.

Weaponry in the Lost Sector has everything you want. At the same time, all the equipment in the game varies in quality. It can be gray, white, green and blue. Items of grey and white quality can be bought in the store, and green and blue ones can only be created or obtained by killing enemies.

The support class uses various technical devices in battles: surveillance cameras, radars, etc. They can also repair allied characters' armor during battles.

On the territory of Bronxton quite a lot of different groups (regulators, freaks, smugglers, and others), with each of which you can fight alone or cooperatively - with other players as allies. Every day in the Lost Sector there are different tasks for mopping up these or other locations, completing which can easily earn credits and experience.

All battles take place in turn-based mode. First, the turn is available for one character from the allied team, then - for one of the enemy team, and so on. During the hero can move, hide behind cover, climb ladders, throw grenades, aim and shoot.

Each action during combat takes away turn points. The lighter the player is equipped, the more actions he can perform per turn and vice versa. That is, a sniper in light armor with a pistol can run 2-3 times further than, for example, a juggernaut with a machine gun.

If the battle against real players drags on, Sudden Death will begin. Characters will take damage each turn depending on their distance from the center of the map.

There are also ranked battles and clan battles for territory. Clans in the Lost Sector are still alive and actively fighting for the right to capture the location. In addition, the administration regularly holds interesting events with nice prizes.
