Dead Maze is an unusual 2D zombie apocalypse MMORPG with personal player bases and an emphasis on cooperative battles with the walking dead. Here you will search for supplies, monitor your character's health and fatigue, defeat bosses, and endlessly level up.
So, the game is about zombies, so you will need to fight with them all the time. It gets interesting from the first minutes when the game offers detailed (for 2D project) customization of the character. You can choose gender, hairstyle, jacket, pants, and shoes, as well as customize colors.
Next, the player enters a colorful two-dimensional world, where he begins the passage of the story. He's pretty good for a free game, so you definitely won't be bored.
In Dead Maze, each player gets his camp and house. But to do this you will need to pass a couple of dozen of missions.
In the camp you'll get access to various machines, cooking food and drinks, as well as being able to grow all sorts of crops and breed animals. The house can be furnished to your liking by installing the necessary pieces of furniture. It is here, in the house you will be dismantling unnecessary items for crafting and create new ones.
The character in Dead Maze is affected by hunger, thirst, and fatigue. You'll have to keep an eye on these stats at all times. Food will quench your hunger, drinks will quench your thirst, and you can rest by the fire, which you'll need matches to make. These parameters are depleted not by time, but depending on the actions of the character. That is, if you will do nothing, the character will not feel hunger, thirst, and fatigue.
Equipment in Dead Maze is not tied to classes, so any character can wear any item. This allows you to create unique weapon combinations.
There are more than 500 items of arms in the game. And almost any object can be a weapon, be it a table leg or an antique teddy bear. The classics are also present: firearms, bows, grenades, mines, swords, and machetes, etc. Interestingly, all weapons have points of durability. When they run out, the weapon disappears. It cannot be repaired, but you can take it apart into components and get a recipe.
Dead Maze has no maximum level - roll to 100 or 1000. Each level requires a fixed 5000 experience. Experience is gained while resting at the campfire. This means that if you die before you'll lose all the experience you gained during the sortie.
As a reward for leveling up, you are given 1 of 4 items to choose from: an item, currency, attribute boost, and a skill. Each of the available rewards is chosen at random.
The game also has chat, a variety of zombie monsters, and bosses. The graphics are very bright and the locations are colorful. Recommended to all fans of post-apocalyptic themes.
